NYAIP Rating Application Installation Documentation

NOTE: This documentation is for stand-alone installations only- (computers independent of a network).


Minimum Requirements:

* Computer with Pentium 133 megahertz (MHz) or higher processor; Pentium III recommended.

 
RAM requirements depend on the operating system used:

64MB minimum/128MB recomended for the following operating systems:

* Windows 98, or Windows 98 Second Edition, 

* Windows Me

* Windows 2000 Professional,

* Windows XP Professional, or Windows XP Home Edition.


Hardware Requirements:

* CD-ROM drive

* 100 MB of Hard disk space

* Display Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher-resolution monitor with 256 colors 

* Peripherals Microsoft Mouse, Microsoft IntelliMouse®, or compatible  pointing device.


Stand-alone Installation of NYAIP Rating Application (Single-user):

* Close any programs that are currently running.

* Insert the NYAIP CD into the computer CD drive.

* From the Start Menu select Run.

* Enter x:\setup.exe where x is the letter of the CD-ROM Drive.

* When the NYAIP Welcome screen appears, click OK to run the installation program.

* Choose the default location, Click the large icon to continue.

* During the NYAIP Setup Installation, you may be prompted to restart your computer.

* When the computer restarts, a prompt will appear for selection of a Program Group. Click OK to select the NYAIP default group.

* NYAIP Setup will begin copying the necessary files to your computer.

* When the installation is complete, select Start/Applications/NYAIP to run the program.
