NYAIP Rating Application Installation Documentation

NOTE: This documentation is for Network installations only.



Network Installation of NYAIP Rating Application (Multi-user):

* Close any programs that are currently running.

* Insert the NYAIP CD into the computer CD drive.

* From the Start Menu select Run.

* Enter x:\setup.exe where x is the letter of the CD-ROM Drive.

* When the NYAIP Welcome screen appears, click OK to run the installation program.

* Choose the default location, Click the large icon to continue.

* During the NYAIP Setup Installation, you may be prompted to restart your computer.

* When the computer restarts, a prompt will appear for selection of a Program Group. Click OK to select the NYAIP default group.

* NYAIP Setup will begin copying the necessary files to your computer.

* Copy the NYAIP folder in “C:\Program Files\” to the designated share on the Network.

* In the NYAIP Share open the NYAIP.txt file and modify the path "C:\Program Files\NYAIP\NYAIPData.mdb" to the location of the NYAIPData.mdb file on Network.

* Create a folder called Setup in the NYAIP Share.

* Copy the contents of the NYAIP CD into the Setup folder.  

* Copy the NYAIP.txt file in the NYAIP share to the Setup\Support folder

* Install the NYAIP software to all clients by running Setup.exe from the NYAIP\Setup share on the Network.
